Post Cannot unhide the Documents folder

Somehow, my Documents folder got hidden. So, I tried to unhide it, but when I go to Properties page of Documents, the Hidden checkbox under Attributes is grayed out. I am unable to unhide. So, in the Elevated Command Prompt, I tried to unhide using the command “attrib -h”, but no use. Is there anyway to unhide the Documents folder? Please help me.

    Thanks for any help.

May be, your Documents folder has been changed to system file. Use the below command in the Elevated Command Prompt to remove the system classification:

    attrib –s –h

It will also remove the hidden status.
