How to Prevent users from deleting Printers in Windows Vista?



If this setting is applied and then if the users will try to delete a printer they will get an error:

To prevent deletion of printers follow these steps:

1) Open Local Security Policy Editor and navigate to the branch

User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Control Panel \ Printers in the left pane

2) Double click the option Prevent Deletion of printers in the right pane

3) Select Enabled to prevent deletion of printers

4) Click Apply and then OK button

5) Close Local Group Policy Editor
