How to Prevent users from deleting Printers in Windows Vista? If this setting is applied and then if the users will try to delete a printer they will get an error: Figure 1 To prevent deletion of printers follow these steps: 1) Open Local Security Policy Editor and navigate to the branch User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Control Panel \ Printers in the left pane Figure 2 2) Double click the option Prevent Deletion of printers in the right pane 3) Select Enabled to prevent deletion of printers Figure 3 4) Click Apply and then OK button 5) Close Local Group Policy Editor |
