Default Free Upto 20GB hard disk space deleting System Restore Points



How to Free Upto 20GB hard disk space by deleting System Restore Points in Windows Vista?



Note: The Restore points must be enabled.

You can accomplish this in the following way:

1) Open Start menu and type disk cleanup in the search space and press Enter key

2) Select My files only or Files from all users on this computer option

3) Click Continue button if prompted by UAC

4) Now choose the disk partition and press OK button

5) Wait for a while till the space that can be freed is calculated

6) Now select the More Options tab and click Clean up button under the System Restore and Shadow Copies section

7) Click Delete button to confirm

8) Click OK button

9) Click Delete Files button when asked to do so
