How to Free Upto 20GB hard disk space by deleting System Restore Points in Windows Vista? Note: The Restore points must be enabled. You can accomplish this in the following way: 1) Open Start menu and type disk cleanup in the search space and press Enter key Figure 1 2) Select My files only or Files from all users on this computer option Figure 2 3) Click Continue button if prompted by UAC 4) Now choose the disk partition and press OK button Figure 3 5) Wait for a while till the space that can be freed is calculated Figure 4 6) Now select the More Options tab and click Clean up button under the System Restore and Shadow Copies section Figure 5 7) Click Delete button to confirm Figure 6 8) Click OK button 9) Click Delete Files button when asked to do so |
