Post How to change the file extensions?

I want to change the file extensions. For example, I have ex.jpeg file which I want to change it to ex.exe. Is there any to change it? I tried to rename it, but it takes the file as ex.exe.jpeg. Can anyone know about this?

Click on Start and then type cmd in the Search box and hit Enter. In the Command Prompt, type the below command hit Enter:

rename ex.jpeg ex.exe
