How to Fix Corrupt Event Log Files in Windows Vista?

You can fix the corrupt event log files in the following manner;

1) Open Control Panel (Classic View) and double click the Administrative Tools icon

2) Now click the Event Viewer shortcut

3) Now right click on the corrupt log file in the left pane and choose Properties option

4) In the Properties window click the Clear Log button

5) Click OK button
