How to Copy or Paste Text in Command Prompt from other text file in Windows Vista?
You can copy text from Command Prompt by following these steps:
1) Open Command window
2) To copy all the text, right click on the window and select the option Select All

3) Once the text is highlighted, hit Enter key and then press CTRL+C keys to copy the text.
Note: It is mandatory to hit Enter key before pressing CTRL+C keys otherwise the text will not be copied in the Clipboard.

4) You can now paste the text in other text file.
5) To copy the selected text, right click on the Command window and select the option Mark

6) Now highlight the desired text via SHIFT + arrow keys or by clicking the left mouse button and then dragging the mouse over the desired text.
7) Once the text is highlighted, hit Enter key and then press CTRL+C keys to copy the text.
Note: It is mandatory to hit Enter key before pressing CTRL+C keys otherwise the text will not be copied in the Clipboard.

8) You can now paste the text in other text file.
You can paste text in Command Prompt by following these steps:
1) First copy the desired text from the other text file
2) Now right click on the Command Prompt window and choose Paste option

3) The desired text will be pasted
