How to Prevent Users from Resizing the Taskbar in Windows Vista?



This setting will disallow the users to change the size of the taskbar. Even if the Taskbar is unlocked, the users won’t be able to resize it.

You can accomplish this in the following way:

1) Open Local Group Policy Editor and navigate to the branch

User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Start Menu and Taskbar in the left pane

2) Now double click the option Prevent users from resizing the taskbar in the right pane

3) Select the dot Enabled to prevent users from resizing the taskbar

4) Click Apply and then OK button
