Selecting Contiguous Data to Chart in Excel 2007:-

1. It is easiest to create charts when your data is in a contiguous rectangular block of cells.

2. The left column of the dataset should contain the label for each series to be plotted.

3. The first row of the dataset should contain values to be plotted along the category axis.

4. The top-left cell should be blank.

5. The rest of the cells in the dataset should contain values to be plotted.
