How to Turn On or Off Phishing Filter in Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Vista?



Phishing Filter is an extra security feature that helps in scanning the websites that you open in Internet Explorer and prevent them from opening if they are suspected of phishing. You can very well turn on or off the Phishing Filter as per your convenience.

To accomplish this follow these steps:

1) Open Internet Explorer and then open Tools menu and then click on Internet Options

2) Click on the Advanced tab and navigate to Phishing Filter option

3) You can now choose the desired dot as per your convenience. Choose Disable Phishing Filter to turn off Phishing Filter

OR

Choose other options to turn on Phishing Filter

4) Click Apply and then OK button
