    Post How to open the website using Command Prompt?

    Is it possible to open the webpage using Command Prompt? I donít want to open the browser and type the website address. I want to open the Command Prompt and by typing the website address, it should open the typed website in the browser. Can anyone know about this?

    Yes. It is possible to open the website using Command Prompt. Open the Command Prompt and type below command and hit Enter:

    explorer http://www.itechtalk.com

    OR

    rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler www.itechtalk.com

    Both the command will work. But, the website will be opened in your default web browser. If your default web browser is Internet Explorer means it will open in Internet Explorer only. If you have Firefox as default browser, then it will open in Firefox.
