How to Restore Windows Energy Screen Saver in Windows 7?


Windows 7 does not contain the Windows Energy Screen Saver that was shipped with Vista. However you can restore it back.




To accomplish this follow these steps:

1) First download the file windowsenergyrestore.zip from here:




2) Extract the .scr file on the Desktop

3) Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and copy the extracted file there

4) Click Continue button and then Yes to confirm

5) You can now change the Screen Saver to Windows Energy
