How to Accept an Incoming VPN Connection in Windows 7?
Virtual Private Network or VPN allows point-to-point (P2P) connection between nodes on a larger network such as a LAN or Internet. This is a private network so it is a safe way to exchange files.
To Create New Incoming Virtual Private Network (VPN) Connection follow these steps:
1) Open Control Panel (All Items View) and click the link Network and Sharing Center link

2) Click the link Change adapter settings link in the left pane

3) Now pres Alt + F keys and click on New Incoming connection option

4) Check the desired user you would like to use the computer and network or click Add someone button to add a new user

5) Click Next button
6) Check Through the Internet option and click Next button

7) Check the protocols those you want to allow on the VPN incoming connection and click Allow Access button

Note: If you want to allow users to access the LAN resources click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click Properties button

Check the option Allow all callers to access my local area network and click OK button

8) Wait for a while

9) Note the name of the computer the client will use to access your computer or network and click Close button

10) The new Incoming Virtual Private Network (VPN) Connection is now formed.

Note:
Firewall configuration: Allow access to TCP port 1723 via Firewall
Router Configuration: Enable PPTP and Generic Route Encapsulation (GRE) on the Router.
