Default Run PowerShell in Window 7

How to run PowerShell in Window 7

Microsoft Windows 7 is released with a wide range of Software Tools. From the list comes a very productive tool that is Windows PowerShell 2.0 (latest Version). Windows PowerShell is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Scripting and command-line actions. IT professionals are very much delighted with the idea of PowerShell being released with the Latest Windows Operating System as it finally frees them from the Limits of DOS batch scripts, and allows them to achieve greater productivity and control. Windows PowerShell allows easy access of WMI and COM to provide an environment in which administrators can perform administrative tasks on both remote and local Windows. For those who are aware with Windows PowerShell being launched as a part of Windows 7 but don’t know how to run it, then following few steps given below will help you run it.

Steps to Run Windows PowerShell: -

    1. Left Click on Start Menu Button.

    Default Big Learning Curve

I think learning PowerShell will be key to surviving in the post Window 7 world, but IT Admins will face a big learning curve for PowerShell. This was one of the main driving forces for a product I work on called PowerWF Studio. PowerWF provides a drag-and-drop interface for creating workflows based on PowerShell commands that can be run directly or with the click of a button can be converted to PowerShell snap-ins or modules. PowerWF can be used by PowerShell Guru's as well because it can convert existing PowerShell scripts into visual representations that are easier to explain to other admins.
