Post How to place the widget in the Finder in Mac OS X?

I want to place some of the widgets on the Finder layer. I have Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger version of operating system. How can I place the widgets on Finder? Can anyone tell me the steps to do this?

    Default

Open the Terminal window from /Applications/Utilities/ and then run the below:

    defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES

After running the above command, log out of the system and again log in back. Now, you can drag and drop as many as widgets on to the Finder layer.

Remember to press F12 while dragging the widget from the Widget Bar to close the Dashboard. Once you release the mouse or once you drag and drop the widget, the widget will appear on the Desktop.
