    Default Win2k8 DHCP not working

    I'm a newbie trying to teach my self Win2k8..

    I have setup a lab

    I installed 64bit version of Win2k8 Datacenter on one of my PC
    It's a evaluation version from Microsoft 180 days free

    ACDS installed name is Test.com
    DNS installed
    }
    IP address is 192.168.1.200
    Sub mask 255.255.255.0
    Gate 192.168.1.1 (my router)
    DNS 127.0.0.1
    }

    DHCP installed but has a red X on it.
    }
    Set range to 192.168.1.220 ~ 230
    }

    WDS installed
    }
    Setup the images and configured to deploy auto
    }

    I don't think my DHCP is working because it has a red X on it and my Client1-Win7-PC on the network is not picking up the ip address from Test.com. Client1-Win7-PC does pick up DHCP from a router..

    Client1-Win7-PC can ping 192.168.1.200

    1. Could my router DHCP be conflicting with Test.com win2k8 server? or what could I have done wrong to messed up the installation of DHCP?

    by the way I could not join Client1-WIn7-PC to Test.com domain it..saying can't find it

    I'll try joining it again tomorrow

    Default

    DHCP is actually working but it is conflicting with my Router DHCP.

    When I disconnected Router connection, I was able to get one of client PC to renew ip with test.com PC..
