How to Use Windows Unit Conversion in Windows 7

Unit Conversion is the process to convert a measurement unit to another measurement unit. Windows 7, just like its predecessors have the ability of Unit Conversion as a Option in View Menu of Calculator Application. It performs Unit Conversion of the most popular Units like Distance, Temperature, Mass, Power, Density etc. You can use below mentioned steps to do Unit Conversion.

Steps to Use Unit Conversion in Windows 7: -

1. Left Click on Start Orb, Type calc.exe in the Search Space. Left Click on calc to Open Windows Calculator.

2. Left Click on View Menu Option of Calculator and Left Click on Unit Conversion Option.

3. Left Click to specify the type of unit you like to convert from the Drop Down box under Select the type of unit you want to convert in the Right pane of Calculator.

4. Left Click to Specify the From type of the Unit you like to Convert in the From Drop Down box and specify its Value in the Space Provided below From Drop down Box.

5. Left Click to Specify the To type of the Unit you like to convert from the To Drop Down box. The converted Value is now available in the Space provided below the To Drop down Box.
