Post How to delete the files from Time Machine in Mac OS X?

I want to delete the files from Time Machine on my Mac OS X system. I tried to delete the files from Time Machine backup volume, but I am unable to delete the files. So, can anyone tell me the way to delete the files from Time Machine in Mac OS X?

    Default

Open the folder which contains the files you want to delete in a Finder window. Then, activate the Time Machine from the Dock. Then, search for the file(s) which you want to delete. Now, select the file(s) which want to delete and select the Gear menu in the Finder and select "Delete all backups of xxx".
