How to customize grammar settings in Word 2007
The automatic spelling and grammar features give a dramatic boost to the efficiency of Word 2007. There are options for provided to turn them on or off according to your choice. Writing styles are also checked while performing spelling and grammar checks. You can customize the setting for grammar and style check options. Doing so will enable Word 2007 to check only those specifications in a word document on which you have put a check to perform grammar and style checks in your document. Follow below steps to learn customization of writing styles while checking for grammar and styles in your document.
Steps to customize Grammar Settings:-
1. Click on the Microsoft Office button, to view its options box and click on the button for word options to open “Word Options” dialog box.

2. Click on Proofing tab in the left pane of Word Options dialog box and then click on “Settings…” button just after the “Writing Style:” box located below the section “When correcting grammar and spelling in Word” in the right pane.

3. Click to check or uncheck the various customization settings provided under sections Require, Grammar and Style. Word 2007 will include the options before which you have put a check mark for performing grammar and style check. The others with an empty or clear checkbox are not considered. Click on OK button of the “Grammar Settings” dialog box. You can also click on “Reset All” button to restore the default settings provided by word for grammar and styles checking.

4. Click on OK button the Word Options dialog box to close it.

After following the steps mentioned above you are now capable or customizing “Grammar Settings” in Word 2007.
