After installing Windows 7 on my system, I was able to hear the system beep when I start it. But, now, I am unable to hear the sound. Can anyone tell me the location of system beep sound file so that I can re-enable it?

Click on Start Orb and then type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotes) in the Search box and hit Enter. In Device Manager window, click on View menu and select "Show hidden devices". Then, expand "Non-Plug and Play Drivers" and right click on Beep and select Properties. Now, click on Driver tab and then click on Start button and also make sure that you have selected System for the Startup Type. Then, click on OK and close the Device Manager.
