How to enable or disable open e-mail attachments in full screen reading view in Word 2010

Whenever you open a document attached with an e-mail, it usually get opened in basic view of the Word 2010. You can select the option to view the whole document in side by side page format which will be very easy to read. This can be done by enabling the “Open e-mail attachments in Full Screen Reading view” option in Word 2010. However if you don’t like to view the e-mail attachment in full screen reading view, you can disable this options. You will have to follow below mentioned steps to learn enabling and disabling of “Open e-mail attachments in Full Screen Reading view” feature in Word 2010.

Steps to enable or disable “Open e-mail attachments in Full Screen Reading view” feature”: -

1) Click on the “Microsoft Office” button to view its sub-options. Click on the “Word” tab and then click on Options button located just below “Word” tab.

OR

Click on “Word” tab in the left pane of the sub-options for Microsoft Office to expand the sub-options of “Word” tab in the right pane. Now, click on “Options” tab located below the “Microsoft Tools” section of the sub-options “Word” tab.

2) Click on the “General” tab in the left pane of the “Word Options” dialog box. Now from the right pane of the “Word Options” dialog box check the checkbox for “Open e-mail attachments in Full Screen Reading view” located below the "User Interface options" to enable this option.

OR

In the right pane of “Word Options” dialog box uncheck the checkbox for “Open e-mail attachments in Full Screen Reading view” located under "User Interface options" to disable this option.

3) Click on the OK button located at the bottom of the “Word Options” dialog box to close it.
