How to disable or enable printing of background colors and images in Word 2010

You can add images and give colours to your work document as per you choice. Microsoft Word 2010 gives you various tools to do so. Printing the images and colours you have used in your word document is quite simple. You just have to enable an option related to it. Follow some steps mentioned below to learn doing so.

Steps to enable or disable printing of background colors and images: -

1. You need to click the Microsoft Office button to view its sub-options. Now among the sub options you need to click the “Options” button in the “Word” tab to open “Word Options” dialog box.

OR

Click on the “Word” tab to open its sub-options to the right of the tab itself. Click on “Options” tab among the sub-options to open “Word Options” dialog box.

2. Click on the “Display” tab in left pane of the “Word Options” dialog box and then click in the checkbox “Print background colors and images” located under the “Printing options” section of the “Word Options” dialog box to check and enable the option.

OR

Click in the checkbox “Print background colors and images” located under the “Printing options” section of the “Word Options” dialog box to uncheck and disable the option.

3. Click on the OK button located at the bottom of the “Word Options” dialog box.
