Adding Additional Series to a Pivot Chart in Excel 2007:-
So far, each of the pivot charts in this chapter has plotted a single series. You can easily specify values in another text field that can be used to differentiate the single series into multiple series. To specify a field as the legend, you need to drag the field from the top of the PivotTable Field List box to the Legend Fields drop zone. To create the chart in the Figure (given below), you follow these steps: (You can add a field to the Legend drop zone in order to break the total into multiple series.) 1. Drag the Region field to the Legend Fields drop zone. Excel breaks the total revenue into three series. 2. Choose Design, Change Chart Type, Stacked Column. 3. Choose Layout, Legend, Show Legend at Right. 4. Choose Layout, Axes, Primary Vertical Axis, Show Axis in Millions. |
