    How to customize message bar settings for all office applications by Word 2010

    Message bar in Word 2010 application and for all office applications is the notification bar for all the notification messages. For example when some content gets disabled while opening the a word document like add-ins, it is being notified by the word application in form of a notifying message appearing above the word document page and below the word ribbon. The settings for message bar provided by Word 2010 are mentioned below: -

    1. Show the Message Bar in all applications when content has been blocked: - This setting when selected using Word 2010 for all Office application, will show the Message bar in all application whenever some content gets blocked.

    2. Never show information about blocked content: - When this is selected as a setting for all office applications using Word 2010, then no information about the blocked content will be displayed.

    A user is allowed to select one setting at a time among the two provided. Follow few of the steps mentioned below to learn customizing message bar settings for all office applications in Word 2010.

    Steps to customize message bar settings for all office applications in Word 2010: -

    1. Open the dialog box for "Word Options" by following a step from the under mentioned ones

    a. Click the button for options of "Microsoft Office" Word, and after that click on the button tagged as "Options", which is placed below the tab tagged as "Word".

    b. Click the button for options of "Microsoft Office" Word, and after that click the tab tagged as "Word". Find tab tagged as "Options" in adjacent part of the tab tagged as "Word" and then click on it. You will see it placed under the section entitled as "Microsoft Tools".

    2. Click on tab tagged as "Trust Center" and then from the other part adjacent to the "Trust Center" tab, click on the button tagged as "Trust Center Settings..." from the dialog box for "Word Options", which will invoke the dialog box for "Trust Center".

    3. First click the "Message Bar" tab from the left part of the "Trust Center" dialog box and then from the adjacent part of the dialog box, click the radio button of the setting you would like to enable as a Message bar setting for all office Applications.

    4. Close the dialog box for "Trust Center" by clicking on the "OK" button of the dialog box.

    5. Click the "OK" button of the dialog box for "Word Options" to close the dialog box.

    Soon after tracing the above noted steps, a user is capable to customize message bar settings for all office applications by Word 2010.
