    Enable or disable trust center logging in Word 2010

    How to enable or disable trust center logging in Word 2010

    Word 2010 application provides its user to view the privacy statement and policies related to its usage. It allows is user to view the privacy statement online too. In addition the user can view and take part in the customer experience improvement program, for providing feedback and valuable suggestion toward improving the interaction with the software. A user can learn to protect the privacy and security by learning about the Microsoft Trustworthy Computing. All these feature regarding the software usage and user experience are introduced in Trust Center of the Word 2010 application. One more option related to it is, logging to the Trust Center. You can enable or disable logging to the Trust Center at each start of Word 2010. To learn enabling and disabling of the trust center logging, follow the steps mentioned below to do so.

    Steps to enable or disable trust center logging in Word 2010: -

    1. Open the dialog box for "Word Options" by following a step from the under mentioned ones

    a. Click the button for options of "Microsoft Office" Word, and after that click on the button tagged as "Options", which is placed below the tab tagged as "Word".

    OR

    b. Click the button for options of "Microsoft Office" Word, and after that click the tab tagged as "Word". Find tab tagged as "Options" in adjacent part of the tab tagged as "Word" and then click on it. You will see it placed under the section entitled as "Microsoft Tools".

    2. Click on tab tagged as "Trust Center" and then from the other part adjacent to the "Trust Center" tab, click on the button tagged as "Trust Center Settings..." from the dialog box for "Word Options", which will invoke the dialog box for "Trust Center".

    3. First click the "Message Bar" tab from the left part of the "Trust Center" dialog box and then from the adjacent part of the dialog box, click in the checkbox for the option "Enable Trust Center logging" to check (put a right mark in) it, which will enable logging in Trust Center every time you start Word 2010.

    OR

    First click the "Message Bar" tab from the left part of the "Trust Center" dialog box and then from the adjacent part of the dialog box, click in the checkbox for the option "Enable Trust Center logging" to uncheck (clear) it, which will disable logging in Trust Center every time you start Word 2010.

    4. Close the dialog box for "Trust Center" by clicking on the "OK" button of the dialog box.

    5. Click the "OK" button of the dialog box for "Word Options" to close the dialog box.

    Soon after tracing the above noted steps, a user is capable to enable or disable trust center logging in Word 2010.
