How to customize file block settings for Web Pages in Word 2010
A user is allowed to create and save a file using the Word 2010 application. Various sets of settings related to the customization and formatting functions are included in to provide a custom feel and increased user interaction. Word 2010 application also allows blocking files of certain type in concern with opening and saving of those files. When file block setting for a typical file type is checked for open, then the file will either not open or will be opened in protected view, and when file block setting for a typical file is checked for save, then Word 2010 will prevent saving of those files on the system. Checking both the checkboxes for open and save are permitted too, for a typical file type. You can trace the below noted steps to know how file block settings for Web Pages in Word 2010 are customized.
Steps for customizing file block settings for Web Pages in Word 2010: -
1. To proceed with, you will have to invoke the dialog box for "Word Options". You can do so, by tracing one step from the two undernoted.
a. Click on the blue button for "Microsoft Office" Word option, from the left corner of the "Word Ribbon" and then click on the button entitled as "Options" placed below the "Word" tab, from the expanded "Microsoft Office" Word options.

b. Click on the blue button for "Microsoft Office" Word option, from the left corner of the "Word Ribbon" and then click on the tab entitled as "Word" . Now look in the adjacent side of the "Word" tab for the tab by name "Options" and then click on it. You will find it placed below "Microsoft Tools" section.

2. Click on tab entitled as "Trust Center" from the left part of the dialog box for "Word Options"and then from the other part adjacent to the tab "Trust Center", click on the button entitled as "Trust Center Settings...", which will open the dialog box for "Trust Center".

3. Now from the left part of the "Trust Center" dialog box, click on the tab entitled as "File Block Settings" and then approach to the check boxes for open and save category for the file type "Web Pages", in the adjacent part of the "Trust Center" dialog box. Now click in the checkboxes to check (put right mark in) them, for the desired category corresponding to the "Web Pages" file type, which will enable checked category as a file block setting for the corresponding file type.
OR
Now from the left part of the "Trust Center" dialog box, click on the tab entitled as "File Block Settings" and then approach to the check boxes for open and save category for the file type "Web Pages", in the adjacent part of the "Trust Center" dialog box. Now click in the checkboxes to uncheck (clear) them, for the desired category corresponding to the "Web Pages" file type, which will disable unchecked category as a file block setting for the corresponding file type.

4. Click the "OK" button of the "Trust Center" dialog box to close it.

5. Close the "Word Options" dialog box by clicking its "OK" button.

Once the above mentioned steps are traced in a particular manner, users will then be able to customize file block settings for Web Pages in Word 2010.
