    Microsoft Word 2010 is the member of the Microsoft Office 2010 family, as a text editor. Many new features are included in the latest launched version of the Microsoft Word. Also the functionalities to the old features are enhanced to an extent. Proper categorization of nearly similar features is also provided to make the usage of the feature pretty easy for the users. Word 2010 application contains a ribbon in which various tabs are there and the features similar in functionalities or in concern with a section are categorized in these tabs. The Home tab can be activated in the Word 2010 ribbon by clicking on it. Once the Home tab is activated the function and features categorized under various sections of Home tab becomes accessible for the user. A feature for defining new list style for multilevel lists is provided in the Paragraph section of the Home tab. You can learn the how a new list style is created using multilevel list feature in Paragraph section of Home tab for Word 2010 by following the steps mentioned below.

    Steps to create new list style using multilevel list feature in paragraph section of Home tab for Word 2010: -

    1. Activate the “Home” tab in the “Word 2010 ribbon” by a click on it. Once you click on the “Home” tab the options categorized under “Home” tab will become accessible in the “Word 2010 Ribbon” itself.

    2. Click on the down arrow marker of the button for “Multilevel list” from the “Paragraph” section in the Home tab to expand related sub options and click on “Define New List Style…” option, which will open “Define New List Style” dialog box.

    3. Now click in the text box for the option “Name:” under the “Properties” section of “Define New List Style” dialog box and type the name that you would like to give to the list. Now click on “OK” button of the “Define New List Style” dialog box to successfully create the list. New style by the name you provided in text box for “Name:” option is now being created.

    After tracing the steps mentioned above, you are now capable to use create new list style using multilevel list feature in Paragraph section of Home tab for Word 2010.
