How to choose a line spacing type using options for line spacing of Word 2010
Microsoft has recently launched the advanced version of their text editor as Microsoft Office Word 2010. It comes with the full Microsoft office suite. Including the entire necessary feature, many innovative features are included too. The categorization of the options is very systematically done to provide an ease of access to them. Various options related to customization of text are included in the “Home” tab in the Word 2010 ribbon. Among them one option is for choosing line spacing type in the document using options for line spacing. The option allows the user to choose a line spacing type for the spacing among the text lines in the word document with the help of options related to line spacing. It’s totally up to a user to apply customizations according to his/her needs and requirements. However, if you don’t know how it is done you can follow the under noted steps for choosing a line spacing type using options for line spacing of Word 2010.
Steps to select a line spacing type using options for line spacing of Word 2010: -
1. Select the paragraph or part of text on which you want to apply the custom selection for line spacing and then click the “Home” tab from the Word ribbon to activate its sub-options with in the ribbon itself.

2. Find the “Line and Paragraph Spacing” button in the section labeled as “Paragraph” in Home tab. After that click the button for “Line and Paragraph Spacing” and then again click on option “Line Spacing Options…” which you will find in the list which gets activated after you click the “Line and Paragraph Spacing” button, to open dialog box for “Paragraph”.

3. Ensure that the “Indent and Spacing” tab is activated in the “Paragraph” dialog box, if not activated then click on it to activate and then click on the down arrow mark for the option labeled as “Line spacing:” located under the “Spacing” section. The down arrow mark will open the list of line spacing types from which click on the type that you would like to use as your custom selection. Now, close the “Paragraph” dialog box by clicking its “OK” button.

4. You will find that the line spacing type among lines in the selected text is altered according to your selected customization.
