Sending a Meeting Invitation in MS Office Outlook 2010
In the Previous post, we told you how to send an Appointment invitation through MS Outlook Application. In this post we will tell you how to send an invitation for a Meeting. This feature comes in very handy in the modern day corporate world where there will be a need to have several meetings that are organized by the company’s higher authority on a monthly basis. So, to send meeting invitations you can use this MS Outlook feature which enables you to send Meeting invitations with full details. Follow the simple steps given below in order to send Meeting Invitations to people in MS Outlook 2010.
1) Open you MS Outlook account; then in the Ribbon click on the “Home Tab” and then inside the Home Tab, in the ‘New’ category, click on the “New Items” icon. See Figure 1 for details.
2) Now from the drop down list of the New Items icon, click on the “Meeting” option. See Figure 2 for details.
3) Now in the “Meeting” window thus opened, enter the mail id’s of the people to whom you have to send Meeting invitations, then enter the subject and the location of the Meeting and specify the Date and Time when the meeting is going to be held. Once you have specified all the details, click on “Send”. See Figure 3 for details.
4) Now the people that you specified will receive the Meeting invitation with all the necessary details. See Figure 4 for details.
