Displaying the Log Off Button on the Start Menu in Windows 7
If you are an addicted to the
Log Off button that was on the
Start menu of earlier Windows versions, you may observe that it has been removed, or, rather, it has moved to the menu accessed by the arrow.
This new location can be mainly frustrating if you have many user accounts on your system and switch often. Yet, you can bring the button back by personalizing the Classic Start menu:
1) Right-click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
Taskbar and Start menu Properties window will open.
2) Click the Start Menu tab.
3) Click the Customize button next to the Classic Start menu option, as shown in Figure 1.

1. Click on Customize button.
4) Check the Display Log Off option, as shown in Figure 4.39, and then click OK to exit.
